Overview

Overview

One of the largest fireworks festivals in Kyushu, held against the backdrop of Sakurajima and Kinko Bay. About 15,000 shells are launched from the Kagoshima Port Honko area, and the simultaneous launch of 2-shaku shells is its signature. There is no dedicated parking around the venue, so go by city tram or bus.

Set on Kinko Bay overlooking the active volcano Sakurajima. Rapid-fire shakudama, two 2-shaku shells launched at once and music fireworks bring summer to a close.
