How to choose

Places to stay in Hiroshima City fall into three areas: around Hiroshima Station on the shinkansen, and Hatchobori, Kamiyacho and the Peace Memorial Park area, which are linked by streetcar. Miyajima can be visited as a day trip from the city, but staying on the island or across the water at Miyajimaguchi lets you see Itsukushima Shrine in the morning and evening, when there are few day-trippers.
