Overview

Overview

Every February, many of Japan's professional baseball teams hold spring training camps in warm Okinawa; in 2026, nine teams (first and second squads combined) plus Korean teams gathered at sites around the prefecture. In Naha, the Yomiuri Giants hold camp at Okinawa Cellular Stadium Naha in Onoyama Park, where practice games and preseason games are also played. Watching practice is generally free, and it's a rare chance to see players up close.
