Lake Toya Long-Run Fireworks
Overview
Long-run fireworks launched over the lake at Toyako Onsen every night from spring to autumn. The launch boat moves across the lake as it sends up fireworks, so you can enjoy them from anywhere in the hot spring town. Viewing is free, and if you stay at a hot spring inn you can also watch from your room or an open-air bath.
The launch boat moves about 2 km across the lake while launching fireworks, so they can be seen all along the lakeside of the hot spring town. At about 20 minutes it is short, so you can casually enjoy it while strolling the lakeside in a yukata after dinner. There is also a fireworks viewing cruise to watch from the lake.
