Overview

A hot spring town on the southern shore of Lake Toya. Besides day-use bathing at hotels, footbaths and hand baths are dotted along the lakeshore. It is about 1 hour 30 minutes from New Chitose Airport by JR, and about 20 minutes by bus from JR Toya Station.

A hot spring town where the first inn opened in 1917, with sodium-calcium chloride springs. The town has 10 hand baths and 2 footbaths, so you can easily dip into the water during a lakeside stroll.
