A free pass that offers unlimited rides for 24 or 48 hours from purchase on the Okinawa Urban Monorail (Yui Rail), which runs from Naha Airport to Shuri and Tedako-Uranishi. It is handy for sightseeing in Naha and getting to Shuri Castle, and showing it gets you discounted admission to sightseeing facilities along the line.

💰 Is it worth it?

The regular adult fare from Naha Airport to Shuri is ¥360. A round trip costs ¥720, so riding another ¥280 or more makes the 1-day pass (24 hours) pay for itself

Tips

Good to know

  • !It is valid for 24 or 48 hours from the time of purchase, not by calendar date, so if you buy it in the evening you can use it for sightseeing the next day too
  • !When using the QR e-ticket on your phone, turn off NFC or priority settings if Mobile Suica or similar responds
  • !If you will also use local buses, the Bus Monopass combined with the Naha Bus city section is another option
