Tips

Tips

  • •Takato and Matsumoto are in southern and central Shinshu, while Suzaka and Nagano are in the north, so peak bloom differs slightly. Traveling from south to north in this order makes it easier to follow the blossoms.
  • •Takato Castle Ruins Park gets very crowded during cherry blossom season, so aim to arrive at Inashi Station early on day 1.
  • •To return to Tokyo, you can take the Hokuriku Shinkansen from Nagano Station.
