Tips

Tips

  • •The streetcar connects Goryokaku, the Bay Area, Yunokawa Onsen and Hakodate Station, so you can get around without a car.
  • •Outside the Christmas Fantasy period, you can replace the first evening with a walk around the illuminations at Hachiman-zaka and the red brick warehouses.
  • •Slopes and cobblestones freeze and get slippery, so wear shoes with good grip or anti-slip soles.
