Tips

Tips for travelers

  • ✓Mt. Fuji is often clearest in the morning when the air is crisp. It is frequently hidden by clouds, so check the weather forecast and the venue's official Instagram for bloom and view updates before you go
  • ✓Admission varies by period (depending on bloom status). In 2026 it was 1,000–1,300 yen for adults (junior high school age and up) and 500–700 yen for children (age 3 and up)
  • ✓If you're coming from Tokyo by public transport, Fujikyu Travel's "Shiba-Chike" package with round-trip highway bus and admission is convenient (7,400–8,400 yen for adults in 2026, depending on departure point; book by the day before)
  • ✓The venue is at high altitude and much colder than Tokyo. Bring a windproof jacket even in spring
  • ✓Peak bloom shifts from year to year, and flowers may not be in full bloom at the start or end of the festival. Check the latest bloom status on the official Instagram before you go
