Fuji Five Lakes Weather & What to Wear
Lake Kawaguchi, Lake Yamanaka, Oshino Hakkai
The area of five lakes, including Lake Kawaguchi and Lake Yamanaka, spread out at the foot of Mt. Fuji. At about 850 m above sea level, it's around 5°C cooler than central Tokyo on an annual average, and winter nights drop below freezing. In winter, when the air is clear, Mt. Fuji stands out sharply across the lakes.
