How to choose

Most of Nara City's sights are clustered around Nara Park, so if you stay near Kintetsu-Nara or JR Nara Station you can walk to many of them. Many visitors come on day trips from Osaka or Kyoto, so staying overnight lets you enjoy Nara Park and its temples and shrines quietly in the morning and evening. If you are heading to Mt. Yoshino for its cherry blossoms, the ryokan and temple lodgings on the mountain are also worth considering.
