Overview

Dankazura is a raised path running down the middle of Wakamiya-oji, the approach that leads straight from near Kamakura Station to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, and it becomes an avenue of cherry blossoms in spring. Somei-yoshino also bloom on the shrine grounds at the end of the approach, so you can combine hanami with sightseeing in Kamakura.
