An area where you can enjoy historic temples and shrines like the Great Buddha of Kamakura and Tsurugaoka Hachimangu, plus the Shonan coast. It's about an hour from Tokyo by train. Being by the sea, it's a little warmer than central Tokyo in winter, and on clear days you can see Mt. Fuji from Enoshima.
