Highs around 30°C. Watch out for strong sun after the rainy season ends
June is when Okinawa switches from the rainy season to summer. Naha's high is 29.8°C, mornings are around 25°C, and it gets steadily more humid. Early and mid-June bring lots of rain, but in the Okinawa region the rainy season usually ends around June 21. Once it does, blue skies spread out and the best season for summer beaches begins. Right after the rainy season there are few typhoons and the weather tends to be settled, making it an ideal time to go.
Temperature, precipitation and sunshine are climate normals (1991-2020). Sunset is for June 15.
