Tokashiki Island, Zamami Island, Aka Island
A group of islands including Tokashiki, Zamami and Aka, about 1 hour from Naha by high-speed boat. It's a national park famous for its crystal-clear water, known as "Kerama blue," where you can meet sea turtles and see coral. Temperatures shown are Tokashiki's; summers are slightly cooler than in Naha.

Jun–AugHighs around 29°C: out on the sea, it's slightly cooler than Naha. Ferries may be suspended before and after typhoons.

Sep–NovThe water stays warm until October, so you can still enjoy the sea. Once the northerly winds start, there are more days with high waves.
