Ishigaki Weather & What to Wear

Kabira Bay, Ishigaki Port, Cape Tamatorizaki

The main island of the Yaeyama Islands, known for the beautiful sea at Kabira Bay and some of the best starry skies in Japan. It's the boat hub for nearby islands such as Taketomi and Iriomote. Lying far to the south even for Okinawa, it's 1–2°C warmer than Naha, with highs of 21°C or more even in winter.
